About the Company
Mom's Florist proudly serves the Assiniboia area. We are family owned and operated. We are committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Because all of our customers are important, our professional staff is dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one. That is why we always go the extra mile to make your floral gift perfect.
The building that houses this unique small town flower shop is nearing it 100th birthday! It was built in 1917 and lived the majority of its early days as a hardware store. It was purchased and was transformed into Roses Flower Shop. It served Assiniboia and area until 1996 when Jo-ann Girardin took over and renamed it Moms Florist. Jo-ann served Assiniboia and area with unique giftware, and provided one of a kind beautiful arrangements for all occasions and events. In 2015, Joann sold the store to its current owner, Erin Eberle.
The store continues its trend of one of a kind finds of all styles for any taste. Vintage or modern, you will be surprised with what you can find here! A lot of time is put into finding every piece that makes its way through the doors. There is an amazing Canadian body care line, Barefoot Venus (www.barefootvenus.com) with a vintage pin-up girl packaging, three jewelry lines two from local talent! Sweet Harriet makes one of a kind pieces by our very own Sarah Karst who grew up in Assiniboia and operates from a studio in Vancouver. Sarah and Erin went to school together, and have found each other again in their life journey through business! Our other local jewelry line in HMK designs, beautiful beaded bracelets hand made by a mom and her three beautiful girls. Our third jewelry line in Lenny and Eva (www.lennyandeva.com) with antique brass or silver plates and leather bands that are all interchangeable to create a unique piece for its wearer. We also carry glass wheat, which is hand made in Saskatchewan by a talented artist Jackie Berting, her pieces are beautiful, and are the most incredible way to pay tribute to our provinces main and most important industry. Willow tree and cedar mountain are just another few examples of the amazing lines we carry in store on a regular basis. Wall decor, small furniture, home decor of all kinds can be found treasures for the right person. Our goal is to provide our customers with an experience that will leave them guessing what is coming next!

Delivery Policy
A local delivery fee of $15.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)
U.S. orders must be received before 1:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.
We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.
Substitution Policy
Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
